Chaka Khan

Chaka Khan, who is also known as the Queen of Funk, is a well-known American musician. Through her long career that spans more than five decades, she has been awarded a total of 10 Grammys. Billboard Magazine ranked her at the 65th spot as the best dance artist of all time. The grandmother who introduced her to jazz when she was an infant. The first step in her professional career was being in different bands. Later, she joined the group Rufus. At the age of twenty She released her debut album, along as the rest of the group. A year later, the group was awarded their very first Grammy. After a couple of years, she was able to make her debut as an artist on her own, and made her debut album self-titled. She then released several other albums over the years, such as 'Echoes Of An Era', 'The Woman I Am', and 'Funk This'. Her most well-known accomplishments include the work she does for charity. Chaka Khan Foundation was established to assist children of poor families and those with autism. Khan is also an actress from time to time. She played the sister of Carrie, on stage in "Mama I'm Wanting to Sing." Chaka Chaka Chaka
