Lisa Edelstein has been an American actor for more than 20 years. She is most well-known for her role in House on Fox. Born in Wayne with a strict Jewish tradition, she moved to New York City at the age of 18 and began studying theater at Tisch School of the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the scene of clubs in New York. Her shows were so impressive that local media took notice. Then, she used her experiences and her fame in order to create and write a musical titled Positive Me which she played a role in. In the following year she was employed by MTV to present Awake On The Wild Side. When the show ended, she went on to do film and TV productions. Her first job was in small parts and established herself gradually as an actor.
