Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actor and singer, is best known for her performance in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. She first made an appearance as an actor with the Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian home. Andrea's dad was a Madras High Court lawyer. There is also one younger sister, who is currently working as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born as a child in Chennai. He attended National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to learn the piano classically in her 8th year. Young Stars was the Jackson Five-style band that Andrea joined when she turned 10-years-old. It led to her debut singing career as well as her first music composition. Also, she was an actress in her college. She served as the head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She appeared in the leo coffee commercial with Shiva. She was also in the Podhigai Channel, a television series. The actress has also appeared on stage in India. She played a brief role in Kanda Mudhal which was the 2005 finale. She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. The director asked her to join the female lead characters for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the wife who's husband is in the middle of an affair with someone else. Andrea was selected for the part following Simran and Tabu were two actors who were contacted by producers. It was first released in the early part of 2010. In August 2011 Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to take on a lesser supporting role. The actress made her Malayalam debut in a film with Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
