Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist, television sportscaster in addition to documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun is a multi-award winner journalist, sportscaster, and producer. She earned her degree in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she participated in numerous pro-am tournaments. She received sponsorship from major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition she gained through this was a slingshot that launched her into the entertainment business. Later, she became a filmmaker of investigative films and journalist, as also a sportscaster. Sun has worked as a reporter for several news networks, mostly in the role of anchor. Since 2003, she has became a Fox Sports Net reporter. Her 2012 hosting duties included American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute for the year 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to appear as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has worked in numerous films, and her talents as an actress have been praised and lauded. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009), Shackled 2005 Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun She wrote and produced film Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch regarding marine plastic pollution and the impacts on the planet in 2014, has released the feature length film.
