Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born 19th December, 1986. The native of Canada and works within the Hollywood film industry. She was involved in a number of films. Her most well-known role was Alexis Rose on the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek, that premiered in the year of 2015. The show ended in the year 2020. Her performance was praised by critics and won the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in the city of Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Both of her parents taught. They enrolled her at Elmwood School in Ottawa where the stage was where she appeared in productions. She then went to Concordia University where she earned an education in theatre. After that, she took acting classes in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory. Then she relocated into Los Angeles at the age of 22 where she pursued acting as a career. Annie Murphy launched her acting career in 2007 with the crime thriller television film Lethal Obsession. The actress went on to play smaller roles as well as additional ones in several films.
