Alison Maria Krauss - born on the 23rd of July 1971 is an American bluegrass and country vocalist. Alison Maria Krauss started her career in music at a young age and was a winner of local contests by the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age 14. In 1985 she was signed by Rounder Records. Her first solo album was released in 1987. The band invited her to join the group with whom she performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album with them as a band in 1989.
