Dua lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian origin. Additionally, her ancestors are from the Kosovo town of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa's grandfathers were both history professors. Gjin as well as Rina are her siblings.
