Dua Lipa was born 22nd August 1995 in London, the United Kingdom. Her debut self-titled album debuted in 2017 following her been signed by Warner Bros Records. This album reached number 3 on the U.K. Charts and produced 8 singles. These included Be The One I.D.G.A.F and the U.K. number one track New Rules as well as the U.K. No. #1 track New Rules. Lipa received the Brit Awards as a British Female solo artist and British breakthrough act in 2018. Her album was certified platinum throughout the world. Dua lipa was born the 22nd of August, 1995 in London in the UK to Kosovo Albanian Anesa Rexha, and Dukagjin Lipa. Through her maternal grandmother, she is of Bosnian origin. Additionally, her ancestors are from the Kosovo town of Peja. The grandparents of Lipa's grandfathers were both history professors. Gjin as well as Rina are her siblings. Lipa learned to play the guitar as well as sing under the guidance of her father Oda. He is the lead singer/guitarist of Kosovan's band Oda.
